Abaddon Tynan

The right to rule in Sheol'gotha has for millenia now belonged to the strongest and most ferocious of its people. Shifters hold the throne with a clawed and vicious fist; Abaddon Tynan is no different than any other shifter Abaddon that has come before him. If there is any that can best him in strength and take his head from his shoulders, let them try.

Otherwise, their blood, like that of his son, will be poured out across the great seal of Nazrin and he will continue to wither in his madness, a king too long on his throne.

Sharess Eurynome-Tynan

The shame of the fall of the First Empire burns in the blood of the Eurynome line, even has they carefully conceal any signs of that same royal heritage. Sharess was not chosen by Abaddon because of that rich heritage, but because her beauty was unrivaled, and her prowess unmatched. What Abaddon bore in ferocity, she matched in temptation and pleasure.

But Abaddon is no longer the proud warrior, and though she bears the blood of kings, she would not see one drop of her children's blood shed at their fathers' feet in pursuit of it.

Prince Valon Eurynome Tynan

Perhaps the least favored son of the least favored consort, Prince Valon yearns to make his mark on the realm. But when there are so many siblings; when your shifter father and his shifter consort breed like animals rutting in summer, the chances of catching notice swing from favorable to... deadly.

And yet, there is something in his blood that calls, as it seems to have called to many other brother's before him. Even now, the throne room lies covered in the blood of another unfortunate half-brother, too foolish to know his own weakness. Is it simply hubris? Or the call of destiny...

Lord Palus Bonicin

Palus Bonicin and Prince Valon have been best friends since childhood. They know each other better than anyone else. But being the last of your line, and the last of a merchant family, carries heavy burdens. Too often, Palus is pulled away from the city, away from his 'brother', and off onto the trade routes of the realm.

Soon the caravan will return to the city, and Lord Bonicin will be able to relax in the company of his closest friend, and indulge in the care and attentions of Lady Eurynome and the thanks she gives him for keeping Valon steady and focused.

Lord Haebin Crux

Lord Crux has forgotten more than most people will experience in their lifetimes. He has seen things, heard things... done things... that most of the realms' denizens study in history but committed under names he would never acknowledge as his own. The magics he wields are both powerful and terrifying; a match, by themselves, for any other power in the realm, perhaps even the gods?

Baalhe Maire Q'tai-Txu

Baalhe Q'tai-txu is not someone you would want to get on the wrong side of. Her family holds the majority of the Gita Plains, and Baalhe Maire has spent her entire life learning how to breed and break these mighty and majestic steeds.

In truth, she is more patient with the any animal in a stable than she is with people both in court and out of it. Sharp-tongued with sharper wit, she would still rather have an honest fight to resolve an argument than fool around talking about it.

Asus Sch'ia

Asus Sch'ia is an engineering and mechanical genius. His ideas could shift the balance of power in favor of nearly anyone... if he could simply stop insulting people long enough for them to listen.

A grigori and yet never seen to indulge in the necessary proclivities of his people, Asus is often seen at best as a frustration that is tolerated because, for now, his usefulness outweighs the pleasure anyone would find in killing him.

Schurr E'li

Schurr E'li is a mutation shifter, able to change the shape of his body and create weapons or shields with it. One of the Black Legionnaire's, he's known not just for his great size, but also for his child-like mind.

Many consider Schurr to be one of the gentlest shifters; nay, demons, they have ever met, and this is despite having seen his berserker rage when in battle.

Shifters

There are two types of shifters:
Feral - feral shifters are able to take the form of any beast, even ones you may not have seen.
mutation - These shifters are able to adapt parts of their bodies into tools or weapons. They cannot take the form of an animals but they are no less deadly than their fearal kin.

Aranicus is the Patron God of the shifters, the fleshcrafter, known for constantly creating new species of life to challenge the denizens of the realm.

Grigori

Grigori once held the highest place in Sheol'gothan society, until the Shifter rebellion over threw the Grigori Empire and left them to waste away.

Grigori feed off sexual energy - Incubi and Succubi are the two parts of this species, males and females who simply cannot live off bread alone.

Lilithren is the patron Goddess of the grigori. The lady of Shadows watches.

Vampires

Those with the greatest power rarely need to show it.
Vampires hold the greatest amount of wealth and cumulative power in sheol'gotha. though they have not held the throne since the time of the first empire they have continued to thrive none-the-less.

There are three kinds of Vampires: Blood, energy, and SOul.
Blood vampires drink the blood of others
energy vampires absorb, consume and manipulate the energy of others
Soul Vampires are afflicted by the hunger for souls.
Do'zen is the Patron god of the Vampires as his heart beats for magic, so their hearts beat for him.

The Three Gods of Sheol'gotha

Aranicus - Father of Shifters, the Flesh-Render and Weaver of Fates. A god who wields the tapestry of life, and who creates new and terrible creatures that he releases unto the world to test and see blossom. His name is as revered as it is feared.
Do'zen - The Bearer of the Heart of Magic, Do'zen is the father of vampires. A chained heart shrouded beneath a hood, he takes the essence of those drained by his children and returns it manyfold as magic and arcana. All who study and seek knowledge bow to his attestable expertise.
Lilithren - The Dark Lady, mother of incubi and succubi. The goddess of fertility is more than sex and desire. She is cunning and ruthlessness. She exists in the space between the light, watching and waiting. Hers is the small deaths.
